Important Announcement:  Fall 2009 Changes to Courses and Curricula. The Architecture Department has updated its undergraduate and graduate course offerings to add new courses, to enhance courses in design and digital design, and to emphasize subject areas that address compelling societal and environmental challenges. Courses have also been reorganized into three groups:

  • Architectural Design and Representation; Professional Practice
  • Architectural History, Culture, and Society
  • Architectural Technologies and Building Performance

These changes will affect the architecture undergraduate curriculum. Please see the Bachelor of Arts in Architecture webpage or contact an advisor for further information.

We hope to have all new course numbers in place by the fall semester, but students may need to sign up under the old course numbers while the transition is underway. Students enrolled under an old course number will automatically be enrolled in the new course number after transition. Both old and new course numbers will appear in the Architecture Department's printed and web-based materials until all campus systems are updated.
