Notes on Kite Aerial Photography: Thumbnail Gallery
|
These pages contain images of a graduate student design/build project produced by Professor Mark Anderson's Spring 2003 Arch. 201 Design Studio. Since I was on sabbatical leave I do not know the details of the project. I can report that the result was interesting and generally well-made object that evokes in me memories of covered bridges (although in this case more kinetic). I have heard others mention a Chinese finger cuff. The project is shown in its temporary site on the west side of Wurster Hall. Photographs were taken on a late afternoon as the fog rolled in. The source files are generally 1704 x 2272 pixels and run about 1.3 Mb each.

Explanatory note. This page was created using Photoshop 7.0's Web Gallery script. The script handles the resizing, sharpening, and equalization of the images automatically. While this is certainly convenient for your author the results are not quite as nice as custom processing. |
