  • Larry, the previous Firefly is my favourite action camera of all those I have tested.
It is my camera of choice for simple lightweight KAP, especially using a lightweight carbon fibre tube or selfie stick.
Of the 3 Firefly cameras that I tested, one was a bit of a dud optically, so quality control is not brilliant.
  • The quality of photos from my 6S is not sterling either. The 7S is the same price however, and has the LCD viewer, which would be handy for checking shots in the field (I only do autoKAP). My rig sometimes gets dragged across rocks, so if I ever have to replace the 6S, there's a relatively inexpensive option. I doubt the wifi capability would be of much use to me.
  • Ooooooooo! Did not know about the LCD screen.
