Notes on Kite Aerial Photography: Location Maps

Location Map Relationships
The San Francisco Bay Area

My gallery location maps, begun in early 1997, provide a cartographic key locating the aerial photographs presented in my gallery pages. The diagram below shows key map relationships. The maps are based on USGS quads ranging from a 1:500,000 scale to 1:12,000. In the relationship diagram each row represents one map scale. The arrows show which maps lead to other maps. This is a clickable diagram, selecting a mapsymbol will take you directly to the map.

MAP RELATIONSHIPS

This diagram is from my sketchbook. I found it a useful (necessary?) resource as I was updating the location maps to include the more recent gallery pages. I figured it might be useful to you as well.
