Maybeck Fellowship Print

The Department of Architecture established the Maybeck Fellowship in 2005 to give promising individuals at the beginning of their teaching career an opportunity to pursue academic and teaching interests. Maybeck Fellows teach three courses per academic year: two undergraduate design studios and a graduate seminar related to his or her research/creative work. Research includes topics connected to informing design work. In addition to teaching, Fellows are expected to contribute to the intellectual life of the college and engage in critical, theoretical, and/or creative work. This work is presented through a public lecture, exhibition, and/or lectures in existing classes. Candidates must have a Master of Architecture degree and a record of accomplishment in design commensurate with their experience.
