The Department of Architecture offers a number of programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels:
- a four-year course of study leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in architecture;
- undergraduate minor programs in architecture, ecological design, environmental design in developing countries, history of the built environment, and social and cultural factors in environmental design;
- a graduate course of study ranging from one to three years leading to the professional degree, Master of Architecture;
- the Master of Science degree; and
- for highly qualified students, the Ph.D. in Architecture.
In addition to the graduate degrees in architecture, the department offers a small program leading to a Master of Arts in Design.
An interdisciplinary degree, the Master of Urban Design, is available for those holding a professional degree in architecture, landscape architecture, or city and regional planning.
