The teaching and research spaces supporting the Department of Architecture form a complex environment including -- in addition to the usual academic fixtures of lecture halls and classrooms -- design studios, a wood, metal, and plastic shop, four computer laboratories, building science labs, and a slide library. The College of Environmental Design supports an excellent library and an outstanding archives shared by Architecture, City and Regional Planning, and Landscape Architecture & Environmental Planning.
