Residence Halls 

UC Berkeley operates residence halls for single students and family housing for students with spouses and/or children. All incoming fall freshman and transfer students who apply for housing by the May deadline generally are guaranteed housing in the residence halls. Cooperative Housing 

Information on cooperative housing at UC Berkeley is available from the University Students' Cooperative Association. International House, at the intersection of Bancroft Way and Piedmont Avenue, is a unique multi-cultural housing option available to students. Details may be found at the I-House website.
