Signs 1996 Student Case Study Competition The Vital Signs Case Study Competition challenges architecture students to take a detectives eye to the built environment; to investigate, measure, and report on the physical performance of existing buildings in terms of energy use, occupant well-being, and architectural space-making
Students who accept this challenge must perform a building field-investigation and submit a report of their work to Vital Signs at the end of fall 1996. Submissions will be judged by a jury of architecture professionals and educators. They will award prizes for the best work. Read on to find out more about the competition and how to get involved.
Winners of the 1996 Case Study Competition were announced in February 1997. The Jury Report summarizes the review comments of the competition jurors.
