Brief: During the spring term of 1996, students at Arizona State University conducted studies of five buildings in the state, three libraries by Will Bruder and the drafting and garden rooms at Taliesin West. The students examined design intent, mechanical systems, indoor air quality, acoustics, lighting, thermal comfort, glazing performance, in some instances conducted a blower door test for infiltration, and analyzed energy conservation measures via computer simulation.
