| Brief: In conducing the following study of
Kroch Library, the team sought to determine how the fact that it is an underground
structure would effect the building's performance. The team hypothesized that Kroch Library would seem to be an internally load dominated building with a low balance point. An internally dominated building would result in low skin losses and a low balance point temperature, creating the need for constant cooling. The student investigators sought to prove or disprove this hypothesis through their investigation. |
