| Brief: This is a study of the lighting design of the main public areas at the Mount Angel Abbey Library, in Saint Benedict, Oregon. The information for this project was derived from interviews and surveys of the building’s users within a time period of thirty days before, and thirty days after, the Winter Solstice of December 21, 1997. This study was conducted to determine how the luminous interior environment does, or does not, meet the needs of this Library’s users. | ||
